The Bexar County acquired 51-acre property will not only help further protect the mission of Randolph AFB, but will also include a future County Annex Campus with tax collection, Office for the Justice of the Peace, Constable, and Commissioner Satellite office.
Commissioner Calvert for FY 2017-2018 secured $500,000 for the Master DevelopmentPlan of the property and an additional $500,000 for the Bexar County Precinct 4 Facility—Design. Future University Health System Northeast Facility for family medicine and urgent care is also being planned.The FY 2018-19 Proposed Budget provides funding inthe amount of $11,475,000 to construct the facility. The total estimated cost of this project is $11,975,000. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office substation, an $8 million, 13,500-square-foot facility will be completed on November 2018 on the 51-acre property
